Our client is an internationally operating company and is looking for a
Employee Financial Accounting/ Controlling (m/w/d)
Aufgaben
- Credit Control of debtors to ensure collection of debt according to credit terms and highlight and take corrective action as necessary
- Processing of purchase ledger invoices and ensuring suppliers are paid to terms
- Payroll
- VAT and other necessary government returns
- Liaise with KPMG in Germany concerning the low level audit which is performed
Qualifikationen
- Able to produce a set of accounts to Trial Balance stage and prepare necessary back up schedules on a monthly basis
- Be able to reconcile all necessary Balance Sheet Accounts and ensure prepayments and accruals are recorded accurately
- Able to highlight variances or issues, investigate and take corrective action or at least proactively highlight
- Ability to communicate in English
- Knowledge of German Accounting Rules and German Laws & Regulations relating to such things as VAT, Import VAT, Customs etc.
- Adaptable to change
- Knowledge of stock, stock control procedures etc. would be advantageous
- Eye for detail
