In this role you will play a crucial role in driving workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction. In our Traction Division (Business Area Motion) in Minden, you will troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and test products to ensure they meet our quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to achieving production targets and delivering exceptional service to our clients, including on-site visits for repairs and maintenance, extending beyond the local Repair Center. Your responsibilities
- Identification of errors and faults and initiation of countermeasures
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing workshop orders as per workshop processes and guidelines
- Check bill of materials and other documents to identify required parts needed for service activity and ensure that all materials, parts, and equipment are available
- Execute work as per first-time right approach and ensure the job is done on time and as per quality standards
- Implementation of commissioning, maintenance and modernization projects
- Willingness to work on short-term customer assignments
- Identifies improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the ways of working, communicates them
- proactively, and drives minor improvement actions
Your background
- 2 years of experience in technical support and services, working as a workshop technician with electrical products or technologies; we also welcome applications from entry-level candidates
- Sound knowledge of drive technology
- Confident appearance towards customers, as well as a high customer orientation
- Personally, you are characterized by analytical thinking and your problem-solving skills
- Degree or technician training in electronics or comparable
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German, with a good command of English
