Your tasks:
- Data Center and Cloud Strategy: You will develop a long-term vision for our core data centers and cloud infrastructure, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and security
- Infrastructure management: You monitor the performance and availability of our data centers and cloud services (Azure)
- Cloud migration: You will lead the migration of our applications and services to the cloud, working closely with the other application infrastructure teams to ensure a smooth transaction
- Security and Compliance: You and your team implement security policies and procedures to protect data and systems. In doing so, you ensure that we comply with all relevant regulations
- Team leadership: Lead a team of approximately 15 IT experts, including data center & cloud architects and engineers
- Budget and resource management: You plan, manage and control the global budget for data centers and cloud services
Your skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading data center and cloud infrastructure teams
- Ideally 2 years of experience in managing people
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Azure, VMWare, Veeam and Enterprise Storage and networking
- Certifications such as ITIL, Azure, CDCMP or CDCP are an advantage
- Advance knowledge in German
- Problem-solving skills and flexibility to quickly adapt to changing needs
