What you’ll do

You are a Developer (f/m/d) with a passion for algorithmic programming in a modern cloud world? You want to have a direct and positive impact on the world’s most critical supply chains? You are looking for your next challenge?

In your role as a Developer (Junior) (f/m/d), you work closely with a cross-functional team ensuring high quality of the delivered supply chain planning procedures. You have the opportunity to:

  • Support the conception and development of future supply chain planning solutions on modern cloud architecture
  • Design, implement, test, and maintain functionality and planning algorithms
  • Use agile methodologies such as test-driven development and pair programming to ensure superior product quality
  • Be a vital contributor to the full development cycle by discovering requirements together with our (internal) customers and partners in industry

What you bring

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • First working experience in software development using C++ is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for programming and practical experience in it
  • Interest in supply chain, mathematical optimization and related business processes
  • Background in operations research is beneficial
  • A creative, analytical, and solution-oriented mind-set
  • Motivation and result driven attitude with strong customer focus
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and German

Meet your team

Our team develops modern planning solutions by using optimization and artificial intelligence methods that industrial companies worldwide use to plan and optimize their business.

The planning procedures are characterized by high scalability concerning the volume to be planned (procedure efficiency), broad functionality and seamless integrations into SAP applications. The solution will natively exploit SAP’s state-of-the-art capabilities in SAP Cloud Platform deployed on Kubernetes.

You can expect a quick onboarding and learning experience as well as a mentorship to ensure, that you get up-to-speed as-soon-as-possible. Within the team we count on self-motivation, continuous learning and helping each other and at the same time each can work on their own pace, which gives them flexibility to balance their professional and personal life.

We are working closely with the TU Munich in terms of research as well as student exchange. And we will soon move to our new Offices at the TUM Campus in Garching, while we will continue to follow a hybrid working model.
