Project Manager Coorporations and M&A (f/m/d)
Your working environment
The department GS, Cooperations and M&A, is responsible for leading and coordinating projects and initiatives within the areas of company acquisitions, divestments and strategic cooperations worldwide. The department is als responsible for supervision of all license activities on product level and management of the existing cooperations - minority shareholding - entities.
Your tasks
The main responsibility for you as project manager is to lead and manage a variety of complex, strategically important projects, in close interdisciplinary cooperation with various stakeholders.
Your daily tasks could include:
- Lead, control and monitor cross-functional teams and external consultants in M&A, cooperation and licensing projects.
- Being the responsible contact person for internal and external parties on questions relating to M&A, cooperation and licensing projects.
- Management of M&A projects, including steering of external advisors including support in the development of the transaction structure and contract negotiations.
- Responsibility for cooperation and licensing projects in an international environment
- Development and implementation of draft decisions as well as analysis and documentation of project result for executive and advisory board meetings, shareholder meetings as well as steering groups.
- Control, monitor and implement contractually agreed conditions after conclusion of a contract.
Your profile
You are an experienced professional and have the ability to structure and break down big initiatives into smaller pieces. You feel confident when it comes to complex situations within your area of responsibility and can work with colleagues from all levels of the organization. In addition to that, you can meet most of the following requirements:
- Comprehensive project management experience in an international environment and management skills for interdisciplinary project teams
- Ideally experience in finance and/or from M&A area
- Fluent in English to manage international negotiations
- An university degree in business administration, finance or law or a proven working background in the respective working fields
- Ability to structure work & run many topics in parallel and prioritize among these.
- Analytical thinking and a business mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and confident appearance at all hierarchical levels including board level
- Integrity and act in fair and ethical manner towards others
- Willingness to travel
